Sandra, a local great-grandmother, had directed and produced many shows over the 22 years she spent with the Iver Heath Drama Club. During the 1990s she was our main pantomime producer and Director and helped establish some proud traditions at the club; such as singing ‘That’s Entertainment’ as the finale song. In 2010, Sandra’s hard work with the Iver Heath Drama Club and with local organisations such as the Mead House Day Care Centre and the Ivers Mobility Club was recognized by a HiQ Local Heroes award (click on picture right to view full screen). At the time Olympian Sally Gunnell said “The campaign set out with the aim of unearthing a number of selfless people in local communities up and down the country, who work tirelessly for others and are not always recognised and appreciated for their efforts.”  “As I look at Sandra Corcoran, it is safe to say that it has well and truly achieved its objective, so congratulations again. I have been privileged to receive recognition for my success on the athletics track, and it is wonderful to now be able to champion the work of Sandra.”

Sandra has played a key role in running the Iver Heath Drama Club as Chairman until earlier this year when she became Vice-President.” Said current Chairman Matt Streuli.

"Sandra was my first director and she was everyone's Grandmother. I will miss her cheeky humour and fondly remember her teaching me the ropes as she passed the drama club torch to me."

“She loved a pantomime and I am sure we will do her proud with Dick Whittington in January.” Said pantomime director Claire Freeman. “I have so many fond memories of Sandra, especially the knitted dolls, her amazing panto costumes and she was so well organised”.

Sandra passed away at home on Tuesday 15th December aged 79. We know she would be gutted to miss this year's pantomime, DICK WHITTINGTON, but we will endeavor to do her proud. Sandra's Funeral is at 1pm at Slough Crematorium on Wednesday 30th December. Her family has asked for no individual flowers - instead a donation to PRSA in Sandra's Name. If you'd like to contribute towards the club basket of flowers please contact The exit song is That's Entertainment and Katrina has asked us to sing along and make her proud.

"We still have and will always treasure the beautiful shawl Sandra made for Charlie! She gave it to him at his first AGM when he was just weeks old. He received a lifetime membership at that meeting as the first baby born of a drama group union, and Sandra has a very special place in our hearts for honouring our special boy in this way and for many other special memories. Thank you Sandra, the community has lost a treasure, rest in peace." - Jo and John Williams

IHDC is on Holiday for ONE WEEK only

There is no Drama on Wednesday 23rd December. Drama is due to return on Wednesday 30th December and we ask everyone to be there from 7pm to 10pm. Whilst we understand that this is late for the youngest members, we are only 4 weeks from the show and every second counts.

Sunday Rehearsals & Raffle/Tombola Prizes

We have sent reminders out by email and Facebook but every second really does count. EVERYONE is needed on Sunday 10th January between 12pm and 3pm and Sunday 24th Jan 12pm and 5pm. If you have any leftover presents from Christmas, or the cupboard, which we could use in our Tombola, please bring them.

After Panto Party - Sat 6th Feb

Originally the club would go en masse to a local pub, which sponsored the club, after the final show. Over the years, the owners changed and so did the habit. This is my first pantomime as Chairman and it is something I would like to bring back; so with the help of Francesca at The Crooked Billet (Five Points Roundabout in Iver Heath) we have been given the use of the upstairs function room straight after the final show on Saturday 6th February. Once the hall is cleaned and clear (all chairs put away etc), all members are invited to the pub! This is a perfect opportunity to have a drink and congratulate each other.
THE RULES: Some of these rules may seem obvious but anyone 'misbehaving' will be asked to leave and may prevent this event happening again. Under 18s are VERY welcome but they must be attended by a parent or carer. If you have freinds and family in the audience of the last show, they are welcome to attend. Normally, as per our Code of Conduct, alcohol is not allowed to be consumed at IHDC events however the committee has agreed that this is an appropiate occasion to allow alchohol consumption - however no under 18s are to be given any alcohol. You are responsable for your own conduct and that of any guests you have with you. You also need to make you own way from the hall to the pub and you need to make your own way home - please arrange lifts, designated drivers or taxis BEFORE the event. The bar will close around 11pm.

Sell those tickets! It's Christmas!

At Christmas you see lots of friends and family- so it is the PERFECT opportunity to give them a leaflet and nag them to buy tickets. Why not get your phone or iPad/tablet out and help them book tickets online? Tickets sales this year is mixed. Normally we have a few big group bookings by now, freinds at work or local groups, but we don't seem to have as many. That said, we can see lots of families who have booked but most of them are not the same names as our members. Does this mean your families haven't booked yet? Please nag them too. Last year we were turning people away from the last show because they didn't think they had to call or book online and we want them to see your hard work!

Can you put some flyers at work? The GP Surgery? Your local shop?

Have you seen our posters around the village? Why not take a selfie with a poster and share on Facebook, twitter or Instagram?

Thank you for all your support and hard work! We are now on the final furlong... keep going!

You are fantastic and this will be an AWESOME show - if we keep pushing together.

Please book right now by clicking the BOOK NOW on the homepage of or click HERE.  Ticket sales as of Friday 18th Dec:
